Nikes x Check

WEARING //
Check Shirt - Thrift
Denim Shorts - New Look
Bag - Primark
Nike Roshe Runs - Office
Socks - Primark
Necklace - Mango

So none of you may known that i do have a little passion for trainers, especially nike's so this pay day i added these beauty of a pair of nike roshe run's to my little trainer collection and i am in love, they are so comfy and easy to get on and i defiantly recommend everyone to get a pair. Today i'm wearing this oversized check shirt with some shorts underneath because i do have a little self respect and you know it is windy outside and i don't want anything on show.. if you know what it means. I love this outfit as its casual and perfect for the come down of summer and very 'me'. Also i'm sort of considering attempting to do daily posts as i've been MIA for a long time,  so... yay? nay?

Casual Tuesdays

WEARING //
Shirt - H&M
Jeans - JDY via ASOS
Boots - New Look
Bag - Emily's.
Rings - Topshop Set

Lately i've just been feeling the whole 'neat' look if that even makes any sense but when i saw this shirt from H&M i just knew it needed to be in my wardrobe instead of on the rack in the store, it may sound stupid but it does make me feel a lot older and like i'm doing mature 'grown up' things when really i'm not. These sort of shirt's are super on trend at the moment with the likes of Kim Kardashian pairing her denim shirt with a pair of denim jeans and rocking the whole denim on denim vibe, to to Ashley Olsen simply pairing a shirt with some plain black jeans. So i defiantly recommend i nice shirt as staple piece this upcoming autumn/winter seasons.

Dungaree's Buggin #1

Wearing ///
Dungaree's - Monki via ASOS
Striped Top - New Look
Lipstick - Ruby Woo by MAC
Weave - Deesse Hair
Belt - Vintage

So festival season is coming to an end and i'm attending Leeds Festival in a few weeks for the full weekend so thought i'd start a mini segment of the outfits i'll wear over the weekend whilst i'm there, so this is my first one which i shall be wearing on the Friday. I'd be looking all over some dungarees since the beginning of summer and didn't really find any i loved, until i found this vintage looking patchwork dungarees which i instantly clicked add to bag, the contract if the different colours of denim give a unique look to a simple pair of dungarees and i think would be perfect all season round, with a baggy jumper in the winter and light colours in the spring/summer. The striped top is another item i'd been searching for and i love it because its baggy and flowy perfect for festival as i wont feel to restricted or tight especially whilst i'll be jumping around and maybe even a little bit sweaty. I'll be adding body painting on my face to give the look a more festival summer vibe.

Birthday Weekend - 17th

Wearing //
Playsuit - Missguided
Purse - Primark
Boots - Topshop
Choker - Depop Account - emilybirchprice

I feel like i've been saying this a lot lately but i'd like to apologise for the lack of post these past weeks and my lack of activity as i feel like i have neglected my blog a lot recently - that being said i've found this new motivation to continue this as i love it so very much, so why not start with my outfit for my 17th this Sunday. So if you follow me on twitter or instagram you may know that i spent a week in London for my birthday and to visit family. This gorgeous missguided low cut back playsuit was perfect for the hot sunday evening and trust me these pictures (Taken from my iPhone) are doing it justice, i highly recommend this to everyone and anyone, this polyester fabric is soo loose and comfortable yet tailored to my body perfectly.  I paired the playsuit with these leather burgangy heel'ed boots to dress up the outfit a little bit more as it was a big occasion and i love these boots however i did pay the price by ending up with some not so lovely blisters.. i know TMI right.

Back At It

WEARING //
Blouse Top - Missguided
Belt - Hand Me Down
Boots - River Island
Socks -  Dad's

I'm sitting here with a little writers block due to the fact that i have not blogged in a month and a day.. but i'm back at it after the stressful exams i encountered the past month which therefore lead me to have stress related illness but i'm dead or anything so here i am back to blogging. Now internet shopping is where my happiness lies so i thought i'll treat myself to some good old clothes and stumbled across this beauty of a floral blouse and frankly i am shocked that i'm so in love with in, as you can see it is not black or white and is full over colour, perfect for the summer. After a couple of 'ummings & ahhhing's' i finally added to the bag and purchased it and i love it even more now that it's sitting in my wardrobe. You can wear it as a dress as it is baggy and oversized, or as a cardigan in the warm weather or just as a simple blouse, making me fall in love with in more because you can style it in so many different ways, so definitely be prepared to be seeing this blouse in a lot more of my other outfit posts. (Oh, just to state i did have shorts on underneath.)

The Biker In Me

IMAGES FOUND ON TUMBLR

So i haven't post in a while so i thought why not post something about a current obsession, leather biker jackets. Leather jackets are perfect to just throw on to up do an outfit and are great statement pieces, so this month i've been looking everywhere fore the perfect biker jacket but every one i fall in love with are super expensive and unfortunately i am a stink student with expensive taste. In one of Alexander McQueen lines is the most perfect leather biker jacket i have come across, however i don't happen to own two and half grand. What's your current fave? Also i'm new to depop if anyone is interested in taking a little peek, my username is @crystalshinx

WEARING TODAY: Wicked Sin

WEARING//
Cami - Topshop
Leggings - Primark
Shirt - Topshop
Slip Ons - Topshop
Necklace - Gift

So i'm officially back braid gang again and i feel so much better taking pictures, i hate my natural hair at the moment. Anyways it's exam session so that means a lot of college and a lot of revision.. well i attempt. I'm not at revising so i can't wait for these exams in 2 weeks. (The sarcasm is real) Unfortunately my camera is acting up and the quality has gotten worse hence the lack of posts, therefore i've had to resort to my not so great iPhone 5 camera. So today's outfit is simple as i was only in college for 3 hours, and i'm seriously loving this necklace i got the other day and this plaid shirt, it goes with so much.

Highway Walking

Wearing //
Bodysuit - Missguided
Shorts - Ark Clothing
Necklace - G21

Summers approaching and i'm on cloud 9 because the weather's been lovely and warm so i'm digging out all my summer clothes that have been hiding away in the back of my 'messy yet loved' wardrobe. Speaking of summer, something i'm looking forward to in the sumer is Leeds fest and i've been trying not to spend much as i'm still saving for it, however i stumbled into Ark the other day and found these shorts and found myself dipping into my Leeds fest fund and buying them. For £20 i thought why not and they are super comfy and perfect for the warm weather. They monochrome leaf print with the lace fringe are easy to pair.. mainly with black which i love. The necklace was a bargain at only £5 and i've wanted a fashion statement piece like this one which will be perfect to spice up an outfit on a night out.

I've Been A Busy Bee

Wearing //
Jumper // Sisters Clothing
Skort // Missguided
Polka Dot Shirt // Topshop
Bag // Mango
Glasses // Perception

I realise that i haven't posted in about 2 weeks due to exams coming up and i've been really busy attempting to revise and also i took a little time out to try and get some inspiration really.. i don't want to post anything just for the sake of it. Anyways i'm back and hopefully i'll be able to go back to posting regularly. Also if you haven't already noticed i took my braids out as they we're getting old and my hair needed a breather. I was a little hesitant to do a post with my natural hair however i'm trying to embrace it and also i pinned it up so you can't see much.. rest ensure my braids will be back in a few days. So here's a little post of what i was wearing today, nothing too out there but the weather is looking up so i fancied a skort kind of day really. Oh and my glasses, i really hate them but i have to wear them as i'm short sighted and i've had too many 'bumps' into cars cause i haven't seen them so i'd rather wear them and not die.

BRANDS I'M LOVING ATM // Motel Rocks

*pictures from motelrocks website*
Everything Motel Rocks

So i've been a motel rock love for a very long time now and it's only been the past few weeks we've i've actually purchased something off their website, which i am still yet to feature on my blog and honestly the pieces i have bought have been well worth the money and delivery time. Their easy to style, comfortable and totally my style. I thought why not give them a little mention on my blog and talk about a few of the pieces i've picked off their website, the pictures i've featured are some on the items i think my blogger audience and myself would be the items we would invest with, the prints and colours are easy to style and just a few of the many variety of items they have. The prices can be a little pricey but if your around my age just thank them for their lifesaver of 20% student discount. Im thinking of making this into a little monthly segment of talking about brands i'm loving, yay? nay?

*Disclaimer*
Just thought i'd throw a little disclaimer in and mention that i have not be contacted by motel about writing a post about them or their outfits, nor am i getting paid for this, these are simply my views and thoughts only and though i'd write a post about this brand as i haven't put a post up in a couple of days and thought why not.  This is NOT a sponsored post

Having a good old look through my wardrobe and stumbled across my run dmc top that i bought over a year ago and i fell in love again. It's great to pair with simple black pieces such as my joni jeans and even distressed denim shorts and as summer is near i have a sense that i'm going to wearing it loads. The leather backpack is another old piece i love to pull out around spring/summer, however sometimes i do feel a little like dora the explore.. only sometimes though.

Latest Buy // Faux Fur Slip Ons

 Topshop - £20
Firstly, i want to apologise now about my awkward camera angles, it looks like i've got my shoes on my hands no thanks to my tiny ankles. However i did feel like i should feature my latest purchase, these faux fur textured slip ons. I'm having a little shoe obsession at the moment and i can't help but have this urge to purchase so many shoes, i've been wanting slip ons after seeing someone post a picture of a pair on instagram, and i told myself i would get myself a pair as soon as poss! These are super easy to style and go with a lot of things, the problem with these beauties are that if you want to purchase them, try them on first! I'm a UK size 6 and had to buy these in a size 7 after reading reviews saying to get a size up, i did so and they fit pretty decent actually.

So i bought these slip ons as a pair of go to shoes as my vans are getting old and horrid looking and these are perfect to jazz up a casual look, however do get a size up from your usual size, i'm a size 6 and i had to get a 7 and they fit just fine. As the weathers feeling a little bit more spring like i've been wearing more casual outfits and nothing too dressy and i feel so comfortable, especially around college.

Everyday On The Go Must Haves.

This post isn't fashion or beauty type post really but i'm trying to switch things up a little and venture out of my comfort zones a bit more and produce a wider variety of topics on my blog, so why not let you all know my must have items that i carry around with me near enough everyday. Firstly my little handy dandy notebook there, as i'm currently in college i've had to carry this notepad with me to write notes..(dur hence the name.. 'notepad') as in college paper really isn't just handed out to you anymore, however i've found this notepad handy for more things as it's been my organiser really, helping me remember blog post ideas and other bits and bobs and obviously then pen or i'd be getting no where with my notes. Some sort of lip care product is a MUST for me as i am suffer of horrendous chapped lips.. do feel sorry for me, so lip balm is always with me where i am. Whatever lipstick i'm wearing on the day will come with me also as no one likes old worn looking lipstick. My metro bus pass will tag along with me along with my key which failed to make an appearance, as have to get on around 2/3 buses a day and i don't fancy paying a fiver for the bus, so my metro card really is a life saver. Bad hair days happen to me very often and in England you never know when it's going to rain so the hair tie must come with me pretty much everywhere. My purse has pretty much everything in it, money, id card, band cards, receipt etc so the big sucker must be with me at all times as i'm always hungry and need to stop for some food. Body spray is something i always throw in my bad because sweat is not a nice smell and when your busy you'll tend to sweat with all that walking around and i refuse to smell badly, so toping up on some body spray is essential. And finally, my iPhone 5. My phone is like my life saver, i feel very anxious and lost without my phone so this HAS to come with me. I suffer with really bad social anxiety and when i feel anxious or feel panicky i wap out this baby and distract myself.

What are you must haves on the go?

The Sunny Indoors

Playsuit - Urban Outfitters
Jacket - Mango
Necklace - Mango
Rings - Topshop

So i've been really wanting to feature this new cropped textured jacket that i picked up a few weeks ago now from Mango and thought i'd pair it with this printed playsuit that is perfect for the summer / warm weather. I really like this outfit as its comfy and i feel like i move a lot without feel restricted.. if that even makes any sense. I'll definitely be wearing this outfit when its get warmer here in England, as even though its officially spring, its still rainy and a cold.. brrr.

Whites Against Prints

Print Jumper // Vintage Shop, Skort // Missguided, Scarf // Mums Wardrobe

Firstly i'd say to say please excuse my terrible spot casually sat on my cheek there, i'm having an awful break out period, hence the reason why i haven't blogged much outfits this past week as i've been trying to clear my skin up.. which is failing miserably. However i wont let this stop me blogging.

Anyways i'm off to a family party next week and bought this skort as the theme is black and white, so i thought i'd show it off in a blog post before i go out next week. I paired it with this vintage print jumper which i love as its so loose and comfy get so different with the prints, which hasn't yet featured on my blog yet. There's a lot of white going on in this blog post, the white wall, skort and scarf but i thought i'd add a pop of colour with the top which i think went pretty well.

What do you think of this outfit?

The Cold is Shifting

Coat - Mums Wardrobe // Cami - Topshop // Leather Skater Skirt - Ark // Brogues // Dorothy Perkins // Rings - Mango.
If you live in England you will now how cold and awful are winter is, especially this year even if their wasn't any snow, its was so cold and windy. But the weathers been picking up lately and i thought i'd blog this gorgeous coat before i felt it was inappropriate to be wearing a  thick coat anymore. I love coats but i hate spending a ton just on one, so i rarely ever buy them in case i desperately need one, however i found this old thing lying around in my mothers wardrobe and thought 'well this can be mine now', so yes i stole it from my mother, shh. Another thing is i'm not very brave when it comes to clothing with a bit of colour therefore i stay within blacks and white, so this is a little out of my comfort zone.
I tend to pair this coat with clothing that isn't too bright, so blacks and whites.. like this outfit, so that the coat can stand out and so i'm not looking like a walking rainbow. I dug out these cute old brogues of mine and thought why not include them also.
