5 Upcoming Spring Trends | 2014

picture from glamour magazine.

So spring is just round the corner and honestly i am so excited to get rid of the winter weather and ready for a bit more manageable weather. I also i find it hard to put outfits together in the winter as it's always cold and i don't have that many 'nice' winter clothes so i just stick to the classic ugly oversized jumper, so spring i'm coming for ya. My prediction for spring fashion is there is likely to be more colours especially lilacs and baby blues. These two colours will be perfect for the spring vibe.

1. Ripped Jeans |  Ripped jeans are by far the up and coming trend for the spring and maybe even the summer. The thing i love about ripped jeans are that they manage to be so causal yet such a fashion statement with the rips in as it allows skin to be seen. They'd be perfect with a pair of converse and a statement piece necklace.

2. Knit Crop Jumpers | I feel like knit crop jumpers can definitely be an all round season trend however i think they'd be perfect the spring especially in the colours lilac and baby blue, as its still sort of cold but very manageable weather which is perfect for crop jumpers as it gives you an excuse to show some flesh yet sort of keep warm. Perfect with some mom jeans.

3. Metallic / PVC Extracts | Metallic / PVC clothing especially skirts and heels will absolutely kill it in the spring. PVC pencil skirts in pink will look so gorgeous with a cute cream top and the great thing is that metallic & PVC clothing can be either dressed up or dressed down.

4. Chunky Flatforms | Flatform's are perfect for the spring the give height and are so flattery on the feet. They are adorable and cute and they make me think of spring. They'll look great with either a skater skirt or print loose trousers.

5. Thick Strappy Heels | These are defiantly a little obsession of mine and i think will 100% be in for the spring, they are so flattery and act as a statement for legs. I'm especially loving the strappy heels with the clear heel and i think will look beautiful with a fitted jumpsuit or bodycon.

Floral Kimono & Leather

Kimono // New Look, Neon Cami // Topshop, Leather Skirt// H&M

Finally, another fashion post! Now as it's coming up to spring i'm really getting back into floral prints and a tiny bit more colour in my wardrobe, but not too much, love me too much black. Anyway's i paired my other sized floral print kimono with my favourite leather skirt.

Oo god i feel like as i've been away in London and haven't blogged as much, i've sort of lost my writing touch, aha! I will be back to my normal routine though.

Are you ready for Spring?

Lifestyle | Week In London

On Valentines day around 7:30am that morning i got on a coach and train and made my way my home town, London. Even after being sat next to pair of annoying twins and being super tired i was super excited to be in London. Around Tuesday we went to Hatfield to see relatives and boy was that journey long. The next set of pictures were taken on Wednesday before we went to White City to see friends and have a little look around.
Thursday was by far my favourite day, we went to Camden Lock Market and had a little look around the markets, even thought it was around 5/6 and quite late there was still some stalls left open so we had a little gander round and i literally fell in love with this little India stall we went in and oh my gawdddd i loved everything. They had the cutest little ornaments and jewellery like that little Buddah ring in the picture below, i would differently recommend going in and having a look if your in the area, and the man that worked there was so lovely and helpful.

Afterwards we went into this place called Proud Camden and it has like little rooms in which we just sat in there, had drinks and did a spot of karaoke (well i didn't..). There was also a man their singing and he was really good, i definitely recommend coming here also as its really entertaining. In stables market there are plenty of food stalls and i mean PLENTY, from Chinese food, Mexican food to Caribbean food and they all looked yummy.

Today (Saturday) i met up with my brother and we went for a meal and i didn't take any pictures as i forgot my camera but it was fun as i rarely see my brother as he lives in London and i live back in Yorkshire. Overall i've really enjoyed my week here, seeing family and going out but my time in London is over and sadly i must return home, but i will be back. London has my heart.

Beauty Review | The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil

So its been a week since i've last blogged and honestly i don't know what to do with myself. Im currently in London spending time with my family and also site seeing and a bit of shopping so i haven't really had the time to blog and i feel a little lost, however i'm back baby.

Body Shop // £12

As i was having a little gander in London Kings Cross station on Friday whilst waiting for my aunt to come pick me up i stumbled across the Body Shop - shop (god, thats a little mind fuck) and thought i'd have a look round. I spotted this and noticed that Sammi aka BeautyCrush on Youtube had mentioned this in her January Favourites video without a thought i immediately bought it.

What i love about this product is that its a 2 in 1, its both a serum and an oil and i like this because its 2 products basically but i'm applying it as one.. if that even makes any sense. The oil is very lightweight as it perfect for those nights where you know you wont be having as much sleep as usual and want your face to look as if you've had 10 hours sleep, so this will be perfect for when i start college again. I find it's best applied with a night cream and rub that together and it goes lovely. However as i do have oily skin i can't apply a lot of this as i'll start to break out, so i only do 1 o2 2 little squirts of this, but if you have dry skin i defiantly recommend this a 100% as it moistures perrrrrfectly.

So, Valentines Day is coming up and once again i will be spending it all.. shout out to all my single ladies. However i will be travelling on valentines day to London so i'm not really fussed on the whole spending v day alone. Anyways so i came with this casual day look that's not too dressy but not like any normal day, and i went with me my ACNE STUDIOS jumper which i am in love with and some boots to dress it up a little bit.

Favourite Winter Lipsticks

ahhhhh, lippys! Anyone who knows me will know that i love lipsticks and feel bare without it, so i'm super excited to be blogging about lipsticks (i know, lame). Anyways these 6 lipsticks have been my most worn and favourite lipsticks this past winter season and they basically constant of a lot of nude/pinks and purples, however i am shocked i've not worn any red.
Topshop // Innocent, Topshop // Nevada, Barry M // 150, Barry M // 160, Mac // Japanese Maple, Sleek// Raisin Razzle

Topshop - Innocent is a gorgeous middle toned pink that could basically suit pretty much an skin tone, i do wear this lipstick with a little concealor over it just to tone it down as in the winter i go for a more baby pink, however it is gorgeous either away. Also what i love about this lipstick is that it is very moisturising especially in this winter season with the whole chapped lips and all. Nevada is a nude colour i instantly fell in love with when i purchased, its perfect for if you don't want too much on your lipsticks however it is is build-able.

Barry M - 160 is the beautiful cherry purple colour in the cute pink packaging and is by far my most worn lipstick these past few months, i absolutely love this lipstick and i cannot get enough of it, its perfect for either a night out of just to spice up a casual outfit, gahhhh i love. 150 is my sort of nude lipstick that i've going to recently especially whilst i've had my braids in, this shade is just perfect if you want a more natural look, however i do have a little down fall with these barry m lipsticks.. they don't stay on for very long.

Mac - My first ever Mac lippy is this one and its from the cremesheen collection. I wore this for my prom months ago and i loved it, yet i did forget about it until now. Now i must say the shade i'd say is a little too light for my olive skin tone however it is build-able and depending on the right day it can look gorgeous. But lately i've started to love it again as i've found its perfect for just topping up as it can tend to look natural.

Sleek - I've had this deep purple lipstick for nearly a year now and at first i thought it did not suit me at all, until recently i've found it goes perfectly over the top of the Barry M 160 shade! I'd say it could be stated as a dupe for Mac - Cyber however it is just a touch lighter. What i love about this lipstick is that it last all day.

Mesh Detailing & Brown Leather

(please excuse all the crap in the background:( i do apologise)
Dress // Missguided
Heels // Deep
Leather Jacket // New Look

This dress is by far my favourite dress that i own and i thought i'd share it on my blog. As i tend to stay far away from any other colour other than white, grey or black, this is definitely my go to dress when i have last minute plans as it never disappoints. Not only do i love the colour white on me, but the see -through mesh detailing fits so perfectly and was the main thing that made me purchase it.

Not only are these gorgeous brown leather heels my favourite pair of heels so far, but they are in fact my only pair of heels as i don't really tend to buy heels as i look slightly odd in them i think due to my very abnormal tiny ankles and i also cannot walk in heels *hides face*, however i do love the look of heels and how they can make you feel so glam.

What do you think of this look?

Old Vans & White Bottoms

Crop Top // Missguided, Knitted Bottoms // Primark, Scarf // eBay, Vans // Office

So, the other day i wore this outfit just to chill around the house and off to see a friend later on that day but i though i'd do a little casual outfit blog post. It's nothing special but i felt so comfy in these snug knit bottoms, however they do give you a little 'camel toe' every now again which isn't very flattering and no they aren't pj bottoms haha! Besides the whole camel toe thing they are perfect for just lounging around and doing nothing.
I promise my next blog post will be not so casual and boring and a bit more glam ehe.

Beauty | Deep Eyes & Soft Lips

 Whats On My Face
MAC Pro Longwear Foundation in NC45
mixed with
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 220
Mac Studio Conceal & Correct Palette
Elf Eyebrow Kit in Medium
Mac Eyeshadows in - Bronze, Brule, Girlie, Nylon,  Stable & Swish
Topshop Eyeliner & Benefits 'They're  Real' Mascara
Mineralise Skinfinish - Landscape &
Revlon in 035 Candy Apple
(Mac Eyeshadows in - Bronze, Brule, Shroom, Nylon,  Stable & Swish.)

On Friday i went over to a friends house and she decided to do my makeup just for fun as i am horrible with eyeshadows, so i was super excited.
I absolutely love how it all turned out and i defiantly need to learn how to use eyeshadows as i love the look of it either it be dramatic or simple. This look would be perfect for a night out on the town however i would replace the red lips for a nude just so the dramatic 'cat eyes' could stand out more and make a statement, that being said the revlon lipstick is by far a purchase i must make soon, it conditions and moistures your lipsticks perfectly and it is something i definitely need with my horrid lips that constantly get chapped, especially in the cold windy weather.
