Latest Buy // Faux Fur Slip Ons

 Topshop - £20
Firstly, i want to apologise now about my awkward camera angles, it looks like i've got my shoes on my hands no thanks to my tiny ankles. However i did feel like i should feature my latest purchase, these faux fur textured slip ons. I'm having a little shoe obsession at the moment and i can't help but have this urge to purchase so many shoes, i've been wanting slip ons after seeing someone post a picture of a pair on instagram, and i told myself i would get myself a pair as soon as poss! These are super easy to style and go with a lot of things, the problem with these beauties are that if you want to purchase them, try them on first! I'm a UK size 6 and had to buy these in a size 7 after reading reviews saying to get a size up, i did so and they fit pretty decent actually.

Running Errands

Wearing //
Top - Mango
Jeans - Topshop
Faux Fur Slip Ons - Topshop

So i bought these slip ons as a pair of go to shoes as my vans are getting old and horrid looking and these are perfect to jazz up a casual look, however do get a size up from your usual size, i'm a size 6 and i had to get a 7 and they fit just fine. As the weathers feeling a little bit more spring like i've been wearing more casual outfits and nothing too dressy and i feel so comfortable, especially around college.

Everyday On The Go Must Haves.

This post isn't fashion or beauty type post really but i'm trying to switch things up a little and venture out of my comfort zones a bit more and produce a wider variety of topics on my blog, so why not let you all know my must have items that i carry around with me near enough everyday. Firstly my little handy dandy notebook there, as i'm currently in college i've had to carry this notepad with me to write notes..(dur hence the name.. 'notepad') as in college paper really isn't just handed out to you anymore, however i've found this notepad handy for more things as it's been my organiser really, helping me remember blog post ideas and other bits and bobs and obviously then pen or i'd be getting no where with my notes. Some sort of lip care product is a MUST for me as i am suffer of horrendous chapped lips.. do feel sorry for me, so lip balm is always with me where i am. Whatever lipstick i'm wearing on the day will come with me also as no one likes old worn looking lipstick. My metro bus pass will tag along with me along with my key which failed to make an appearance, as have to get on around 2/3 buses a day and i don't fancy paying a fiver for the bus, so my metro card really is a life saver. Bad hair days happen to me very often and in England you never know when it's going to rain so the hair tie must come with me pretty much everywhere. My purse has pretty much everything in it, money, id card, band cards, receipt etc so the big sucker must be with me at all times as i'm always hungry and need to stop for some food. Body spray is something i always throw in my bad because sweat is not a nice smell and when your busy you'll tend to sweat with all that walking around and i refuse to smell badly, so toping up on some body spray is essential. And finally, my iPhone 5. My phone is like my life saver, i feel very anxious and lost without my phone so this HAS to come with me. I suffer with really bad social anxiety and when i feel anxious or feel panicky i wap out this baby and distract myself.

What are you must haves on the go?

The Sunny Indoors

Playsuit - Urban Outfitters
Jacket - Mango
Necklace - Mango
Rings - Topshop

So i've been really wanting to feature this new cropped textured jacket that i picked up a few weeks ago now from Mango and thought i'd pair it with this printed playsuit that is perfect for the summer / warm weather. I really like this outfit as its comfy and i feel like i move a lot without feel restricted.. if that even makes any sense. I'll definitely be wearing this outfit when its get warmer here in England, as even though its officially spring, its still rainy and a cold.. brrr.

Be sure to let me know if the comments what blog posts you'd like me to do other than outfit post

Whites Against Prints

Print Jumper // Vintage Shop, Skort // Missguided, Scarf // Mums Wardrobe

Firstly i'd say to say please excuse my terrible spot casually sat on my cheek there, i'm having an awful break out period, hence the reason why i haven't blogged much outfits this past week as i've been trying to clear my skin up.. which is failing miserably. However i wont let this stop me blogging.

Anyways i'm off to a family party next week and bought this skort as the theme is black and white, so i thought i'd show it off in a blog post before i go out next week. I paired it with this vintage print jumper which i love as its so loose and comfy get so different with the prints, which hasn't yet featured on my blog yet. There's a lot of white going on in this blog post, the white wall, skort and scarf but i thought i'd add a pop of colour with the top which i think went pretty well.

What do you think of this outfit?

The Cold is Shifting

Coat - Mums Wardrobe // Cami - Topshop // Leather Skater Skirt - Ark // Brogues // Dorothy Perkins // Rings - Mango.
If you live in England you will now how cold and awful are winter is, especially this year even if their wasn't any snow, its was so cold and windy. But the weathers been picking up lately and i thought i'd blog this gorgeous coat before i felt it was inappropriate to be wearing a  thick coat anymore. I love coats but i hate spending a ton just on one, so i rarely ever buy them in case i desperately need one, however i found this old thing lying around in my mothers wardrobe and thought 'well this can be mine now', so yes i stole it from my mother, shh. Another thing is i'm not very brave when it comes to clothing with a bit of colour therefore i stay within blacks and white, so this is a little out of my comfort zone.
I tend to pair this coat with clothing that isn't too bright, so blacks and whites.. like this outfit, so that the coat can stand out and so i'm not looking like a walking rainbow. I dug out these cute old brogues of mine and thought why not include them also.

Beauty Tips & Tricks #1

I'm always looking for new beauty tips and tricks as i love learning easy and new ways to do things, however i have picked up a few things my self over the years and though i'd start a little segment & share with you a few of my own tips and tricks. leggo.

1 | Dry Eyeliner - I hate dry eyeliner and as i am a massive eyeliner lover i'm always ending up with this problem due to me having 1 too many eyeliners. Put your liquid eyeliner in the fridge or freezer for about 10 minutes, and voliรก, your eyeliner is runny and smooth again.

2 | Smooth & Hydrated Skin -  Now i'm not a person who is obsessed with body lotion and tend to never by them for myself so i just rely on my mother to sort that out for me, but i do love smooth skin. Sometimes i find myself having to squirt out a lot of body lotion just so i feel like my skin is smooth, however if you heat up body lotion in the microwave for no longer than 1 minute, its perfect! Warm and smooth, ahh. However do remember to not just put the tub in the microwave, put some in a bowl before you blow up your plastic bottle.. i've learnt from experience.

3 | Increased Scented Perfume - On a night out or on a special occasion i do want my perfume to smell quite strong and last longer and i've never found a perfume that's done that for me. I stumbled across this trip by accident, i put my body spray in the fridge by accident after mistaking it for a drink, once i realised i got it out obviously and i went to spray it, oh my did i smell beautifully! Put your perfume in the fridge or freezer for about 10 minutes and the scent increases and it lasts longer.

4 | Chapped Lips Are a No - I am unfortunately one of the few people in this world to have the worst chapped lips, no matter what season it is i will always have chapped lips, so imagine my problem in the winter. My problem is worst even when i have lipstick on, however i'm not willing to fork out money for a lip exfoliator tool so i've come up with my own little trick. Get a new and un-used tooth brush and rub it against your lips in a circular motion and it gets rid of the horrible flakes.

Do you have any tips and tricks?

Camel Tote Bag.

I've been searching for an oversized bag for a while now and hadn't seem to find one i liked, up until last weekend.

Mango - £22.99

I was stumbling around Freeport after college and found myself walking through Mango, which i rarely every go in, so i thought why not. I picked up a few bits and bobs and just as i was walking out of the fitting rooms, thats when i saw this beauty of a bag. It's exactly what i've been looking for; a brown bag to add on to my collection and oversized. After ooing and ahhing at it, i noticed that it had been reduced from £49.99 to £22.99 in their amazing sale that they having going on, so i knew i had to get it. The shade of the bag looks different in some lights but its actually shade is a camel colour (like in the second picture.) I love that it has simple detailing to it, such as the shade of the bag and the little design at the bottom. I am absolutely in love with this bag and had to share it with you all.

What do you think?

Light To Dark.

Trousers // Asos, Jumper // H&M, vans // Schuh, Choker // Claires, Necklace // Mango.

Finally, another fashion post! I've been seriously slacking on fashion posts lately which i'm not happy about as i love blogging my outfits but i'm back and i am totally in love with this outfit. My current obsession are the print trousers and i can see my self pairing them with so many pieces. They're loose and super comfortable to wear and i know that i can either dress them up on a night out of just a piece to spice up a casual outfit.

The necklace i have on was a absolute BARGIN. A day after college i just thought i'd have a little wonder into Mango and they were having a little sale going on and this necklace was only £1.99 reduced from around £6! I got quite a bit of stuff that day in Mango so i may just blog about all the pieces i got.

Review | Barry M - Matte Nail Paint

Priced at around £4.00

I got given this as a christmas present and i was so excited as i've been going on for agers now about how much i've wanted a matte nail polish, so you can imagine how excited i was when this was under my christmas tree. Moving on, i've worn this nail polish around 3/4 times now and thought it was about time i wrote a little review on it. So the colour i love, it's the perfect shade of burgundy i'd say, however it can look slightly brown in some lights after a couple of coats.

The applicator it self as fine, and the consistency was perfectly nice and smooth and easy to apply on to the nail. All together the nail polish it self was very good and it did do what it said, it produced the perfect matte look after drying for a minute or so, so that wasn't the problem. The problem was me myself. After a day or so my nails started to chip, now i don't know if it is due to the nail polish or just my nails, as i don't have a top or base coat to apply on so it could be down to that & this is not the first nail polish that has chipped after a day, i find it's with EVERY nail polish i wear. To be honest, i don't think its the nail polish that's problem when it comes to them chipping, its just me not wanting to buy a top coat probably. Other than that, i find no other faults and has quickly become my favourite nail polish.

What do you think of Barry M nail polishes?
