January Faves

This month i've been splurging out on a few beauty products and a few non-beauty products, and i thought i'd inform you all on my favourites through out this month.

Beyonce CD // Barry M Lipstick // Liquid Eyeliner // Hollister Festive Body Spray
Tea Tree Water // Charlie Spray // Real Techniques Brushes // Oil - Free Moisturiser

Beyonce CD - As you all of you are bound to know, beyonce dropped a secret album in December and boyyyy, did she deliver! When it came out i was so excited about it and knew that every single song would be amazing, unfortunately i did not go get it right away (god knows why), however i did get it for christmas and i instantly i put it into my laptop just to have a listen, and honestly all the songs on this album are amazing and i am so in love with this album. I recommend for everyone to listen to, Heaven, Flawless, Mine, Pretty Hurts, Blow and Blue.

Liquid Eyeliner from Topshop - I've been looking for a liquid eyeliner for a while now as i've been using gel eyeliner for over a year now so i stumbled across this topshop one and i think for the price it is a really good sort of inexpensive liquid eyeliner. The applicator is really thin and perfect for that dramatic winged eyeliner, however for me the black isn't really dark enough but no eyeliner that i've ever used or found is ever dark enough so i guess it isn't really the eyeliners fault haha, its mine.

Hollister Festive Body Spray - I got this as a christmas gift this christmas and i was so excited when i got it as i was just about to buy one but thought i'd wait a bit, so i was glad i got this. It's such a lovely smell, its smells like a very juicy / fruity and would be perfect for summer. However this is a festive spray so it isn't in stock anymore because it all comes out around the christmas time.

Barry M Lipstick in 105 - This lipstick i absolutely A D O R E, its a gorgeous nudey/pinky colour lipstick and its officially my go to lipstick. At first i thought it made me look dead as i am tanned but i have fallen in love with it, its so natural yet so un natural.. if you get me! Although the lipstick does not last all day which does bug me a little bit, but i'll get over it, but i do recommend this. Oh and this was super affordable it was around £3/£4.

Tea Tree Water from LUSH - As i was having a little walk around Leeds i thought id have a little nosy in lush as i love everything and anything in there and stumbled across this tea tree water that is used as a toner. Ive been using it for about 3 weeks now, every morning and after i've taken my make up off, and i've noticed such a difference, it helps get rid of my spots almost instantly and also its evened out my skin which i've had a huge problem with for a while now. I can't get enough of this stuff.

Charlie Spray in 'Shimmer' - I got this as another christmas gift and it came in a set, so it came with a lilac glittery nail polish, this spray and another spray It is a new body spray that Rimmel have come out with and uhhhhh i love it *has a moment* It's such a pleasant smell and perfect for when your on the go and you can just throw it in your bag.  It really is a lovely fragrance and i will be purchasing more of this.

Real Techniques Face Brush set - I've been um-ing and am-ing for agers now about getting my hands on some real techniques brushes, so i asked for some for christmas a voila here we are. This set is from the core collection and i'm questioning myself why i didn't get my hands on this set a long time ago because these are by far the best brushes i have used. The buffing brush i find perfect for foundation and  it applies my foundation so flawlessly! The contour brush is by fare my favourite brush in this set, its so perfect for the cheek bones (duh, thats what its used for) and it works really well. The small detailed brush is perfect for applying concealor to small areas and for when applying lipstick and the foundation brush is brilliant for a more fuller coverage. Soooo worth the price.

and finally
Oil - Free Moisturiser from Neutrogena  - When i first used this i was so shocked at how good it was for the price, i bought this for £3 and it is an amazing face moisturiser! As i have very oily / spot prone skin so i really have to be careful what products i put on my skin otherwise hello spot lady. This moisturiser is thick but when applied to the face it so light and smooth and i ca barely feel it on my face and i've seen a huge difference since using this.

Outfit Layout | Sequins & Joni Jeans

Sequin Crop Top // Missguided | Joni Skinny Jeans // Topshop |  Ballet Pumps // Primark | Scrunchie // eBay
Rings // Topshop

This outfit layout is a 'not so casual' day time look, as the sequin top makes it very out there and brings a lot of glamour to the outfit yet the skinny jeans make it very casual along with the very plain but simple ballet pumps.
Even thought the part season is now officially over, you can also rock a bit of sequin every now and again, and i think this outfit makes it okay to rock some sequin.  Pairing this with a black leather biker jacket and a black beanie would make this outfit a very day to night outfit and i love it.

Mini Black Skirt.

              Skirt // H&M

Part of my christmas sales shopping i picked up this mini black leather skirt that i am in love with, seriously if i could marry a piece of clothing i would marry this skirt.. or my leather jacker, but thats another story. It has two sliver buckle detailing on the sides and a black zip on the back and i think these two little detailing completely make the skirt. It's plain but yet very eye catching because of the little details and to the fit of the skirt, its very tight (sort of like bodycon dress style) and reveals all your little curves and figure.

Now, as it's still winter and very nippy i have not had much chance of wearing it other than New Years Eve, so i'm waiting till it gets slightly warmer and i'll pair this skirt with some dark tights, a blouse or wooly jumper and a pair of ankle boots or my gorgeous black doc martins.

GIRLY & ME

Dress // Gift
Belt // Primark

Sadly, a couple of weeks ago my auntie died and seriously i've never seen my family in such a horrible state.
That time was a very dark and emotional time for us over the christmas period, but as usual the family pulled together and we all got through it all. Losing my auntie has taught me how precious family is and how we can all take it for granted sometimes.

In my aunties will she left me a few items from her wardrobe and this dress was one of the few pieces i got from her. I absolutely love this chiffon grey dress and honestly when i first saw it i didn't think i'd wear it at all cause its a bit too 'girly' for me (even though i am a girly girly), i just don't usually pull these sort of dress off, so i just stick to wearing bodycons.  It's so flowy and comfy to wear and i've already planned a day when i'll be wearing it, i love it that much. I paired it with a darkish brown belt just so that the colour grey could stand out more and also it is a little too big without the belt on. If i were to wear it out and i'd either wear some brown ankle boots or these g o r g e o u s brown heels i own.

I'd just like to thank my auntie for the gorgeous items she left me and that were all thinking about her very much.

Happy Birthday Mum

Today is the 19th of January and it just so happens to be my mother's birthday

cutest birthday card i got for my mum.

As it is my mum's birthday i thought i'd give her a little post on my little blog, haha!
The first little collage is the pictures of my mums birthday card from me and i must say it is the cutest and best card i have every given her. Her face when she saw it said it all, she loved it haha! *phew*

The next series of pictures are a few of me and my mum over the years.. that it why i look disgusting in all of them! and then one of my mum having a good old time in America.. without me:(
I just wanted to say, mum you probably wont even read this but i love you lots and lots, even when you shout at me for silly things and even when we have stupid arguments but you really do mean the world to me. 16 year's you've put up with me and i'm surprised that you still put up with me even when in a horrid mood and say very horrid things. You do mean the world to me.

Ejay | Bad Day Cover

So my cousin Evele has been doing a few Youtube videos now and again and this is her newest one and as i love it so much (supportive cousin much) i thought it deserved a little post on my blog.

Ejay Elvis - Bad Day Cover

Her latest cover is to one of Justin Bieber's songs on his new album Journals, and it's bad day.  Now i'm not surprised she's done a cover of this song because not only is it an amazing song but lets just say she's a bit bieber obsessed.. if you get me.

I personally think that everyone just listen to it and you'll understand why i'm posting it on my blog because she truly is an amazing singer and deserves for everyone to at least have a little listen and fall in love with her voice too. She truly does deserve for people to like her video and also post a little nice comment and if not, one day when she's a famous singer you will all regret it, haha!

Bed Peace | Song I'm Loving ATM

Lately, i've been trying to keep calm and control my anxiety so i've been listening to a lot of calm and 'non loud / ravey' (ravey, dear god) music to try and tame my anxiety and be more relaxed.
Jhene Akio ft Childish Gambino - Bed Peace

So i know this song has been out a few months now, but i still love this song so much.
It is so peaceful yet so loud and moving (if you get me). I love all the lyrics and the music video how it's all white and very calm, there's not a lot going on and it suits the song very well.

The song is from Jhene Akio EP - Sail Out

Her whole EP promotes inner peace and this is what the song is mainly about and it contrasts with a very romantic feel to it as well. I laveeeees it
